Easter Table Decor with Vintage Glassware and Menu Ideas
Both of our parents downsized recently and through that process I was gifted several vintage tableware items which I used to set a table for my book club.
Follow along to see how it came together….I hope you find inspiration here for your own table!
Create a Focal Point
Use a white pedestal cake plate to create a centerpiece for your table.
Fill the cake plate with nesting grass and a variety of found objects like feathers, small twigs, dried flower petals, and eggs. Cover your collection with a glass cloche to create an apothecary look.
Add a table runner to the center of your table and place the cake plate in the middle.
Add Fresh Flowers and Milk Glass
Milk glass vases and candleholders are perfect for spring decorating. Colors really POP against the textured white containers…even if those colors are pastel! Place your flower filled vases and candleholders on top of a table runner flanking the cake plate.
Embellish with Bunnies and Eggs
Place eggs, twig wreaths, and bunnies on the table runner and around the cake plate.
Mix and Match Plates
Use white square plates for chargers to compliment the white milk glass. Layer them with complimentary mixed-pattern salad plates.
Make Napkin Nests
Place a napkin nest (flower) on top of each plate.
Make an indentation in the top of the napkin nest and fill the space with edible eggs!
