Happy Sunday!
We will be celebrating Independence Day in America this week. No matter where you live in the world, holidays are a time to gather with friends and family and almost always involves food. Tradition and food go together in every culture. This became very apparent to us when we lived in China and had the opportunity to experience new foods and traditions. But no matter where you go....holidays are about gathering around a table and enjoying a meal together.
This week we are sharing a recipe for Low Country Boil that has become one of our family favorite summer traditions. It is a great menu option for large or small gatherings and can be prepared in advance.
You will also find outdoor decorating inspiration that includes a free download! Can it get any easier than that?
Our Independence Day tradition has evolved over the past 5 years and encompasses, food, old cars, an old fashioned parade, and....more food! If you like old cars and would like to read more about our holiday tradition pop over here.
