Farm to Table in Portland Oregon

I love discovering new places and last weekend we had the opportunity to dine alfresco at a local seed to table urban farm. On my! The small farm is eye candy for the soul and beautifully maintained. The barn features a kitchen and that is were chef/owner/farmer, Stacy Givens, makes magic with all of the fresh ingredents from the farm.  

Stacy told us that over 300 volunteers help weed and harvest the produce that they sell to local restaurants.

The food was fabulous......check out The Side Yard Farm and Kitchen next time you are in Portland! They have on-going events at the farm including "bike-in movie and dinner nights" through out the summer.
