June Garden Tour

Join me on a garden tour of the latest addition to our raised bed garden - the cut flower beds! As you virtually walk along the beds you'll see an array of colors and textures and discover why we're so passionate about the art of gardening at Made on 23rd.

June Garden Tour!

Among the flowers in the new section of the garden, you'll find gorgeous dahlias,

vibrant snapdragons,

and cheerful marigolds.

The wisteria is also blooming!

We are anxiously awaiting blooms from many seedlings including, sunflowers, zinnias, cape daisies, double cosmos, drumsticks, gomphrena, peony poppies, salvia, scabiosa, amaranth, celosia, lilies, and gladiolus.

You'll also notice the variety of vegetables that are being cultivated in the adjacent beds.

Cilantro from seed!

Tomatos, herbs, onions, and a ton of parsley that wintered over!

Snap and Shelling Peas

and tiny little strawberries.


Yard Tour!

In addition to the enclosed garden beds there is a lot happening around the yard.

Daisies, lambs ear, and scabiosa

Angle wings and licorice plants in the patio pots

The eucalyptus has grown very tall this year and needs a hair cut.

The delphiniums returned with all their splendor! Did you know that after they bloom once, you can cut them to the ground and they will flush and bloom again? It’s true…I tried it last year and it was a beautiful thing!

Honeysuckle…I wish you could smell this!

Clematis

More licorice plant and California lilacs

Many varieties of alliums including giant Summer Drummers. Wondering when these will pop open!
