Valentine Party Ideas

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you are planning a party…here are a few SWEET ideas!

Gather a variety of candies and cookies…the hunt is part of the fun! Look for heart shaped cookies (IKEA) and candy in colors that coordinate with your party theme.

Arrange them on a tray like a charcuterie board. Charcuterie actually means cold meats in a collection but why not a CANDY board?

Use heart shape cookie cutters to contain candy elements on your tray.

Select small pink or red spoons for serving.

Glass parfait glasses also make beautiful WHIMSICAL candy containers.

Add a spoon for serving and maybe a straw just for fun!

Use other small bowls or glass containers to hold things like the strawberry sticks…aka…POCKY! You can find strawberry and other flavored Pocky in the asian section of most grocery stores.

I recently saw Matcha Pocky at an Asian food market…the perfect color for St. Patrick’s day.

Valentine candy corn…who knew?

Don’t forget the KISSES!

This is a great excuse to PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD!
