Seattle Neighborhood Garden Walk

Wisteria with raindrops

“Call it walking meditation or a neighborhood stroll; by whatever name suits you, rediscover the art of meandering.~ Gina Greenlee

We were in Seattle for Mothers Day and Hattie (Otto’s Mom) suggested that we take a walk around the neighborhood…and WOW! What a joy it was!

Columbine

We were only a few minutes into our stroll and I could not resist snapping photos of the beautiful flowers to share with you. Spring in the Pacific Northwest is very colorful!

Lavender and poppies

Poppies, iris, rhododendron

“Walking induces a trance like state that allows the mind freedom and ease and encourages exploration of odd possibilities and improbable connections.” ~ Annie Proulx

Poppy

Best yard art EVER!

And wildlife!

Hellebore after the rain

I always enjoy strolling through Hattie’s garden too!

Iris with raindrops

Isn’t Mother Nature mind blowing?!

I hope you enjoyed meandering through the neighborhood with us!

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there!
