This is a quick and easy project for your Thanksgiving table.
All you need is Mod Podge, leaves, a large clear vase, and a paintbrush.
You can use skeleton leaves like these that are found in craft stores, Etsy and Amazon.
Or you can use leaves from your yard that have been pressed in a book and dried for a few days.
Begin by brushing a section of the vase with Mod Podge. Press a leaf onto the vase and brush it with more Mod Podge. Add more leaves placing them randomly around the vase by color and direction.
Let the leaves extend at the top and bottom of the vase so it is completely covered with leaves.
Let it dry for about an hour and then trim the leaves at the top and bottom of the vase. The Mod Podge will still be slightly wet and will allow you to press any loose leaf pieces tight against the vase.
Let it dry overnight.
Place a candle inside the vase and it is ready for your table. Use it as is...or...slip the candle holder inside a small holiday wreath laid flat on your table.
If you do not have a wreath...use leaves, acorns, or pinecones around the base of the candle holder to create a centerpiece.
