Autumn Tablescape Ideas, DIY Twig Wreath

"It's the first day of autumn! A time of hot chocolatey mornings, and toasty marshmallow evenings, and, best of all, leaping into leaves!"~ Winnie the Pooh

Good morning!

It is certainly the season for leaping into leaves! They have been falling out of the trees at a rapid pace this week...it's mesmerizing to watch...simple pleasures like this are priceless! I hope you can grab a cup of coffee or tea and step outside for a few minutes today...listen...observe...breath...and enjoy!

Autumn Golden Hour

A benefit of getting up early this month has been observing the morning light illuminate the colors of Fall.

Mother Nature’s color palette at its best!

Start with a beautiful velvet table runner or linen tablecloth and then layer your dinnerware and accessories.

Use dried or fresh artichokes, seasonal floral picks, and ribbons to accessorize your table.

Cut dried seed pods and branches from your garden to make a floral arrangement.

Place fresh fruit and herbs in the center of the table and on each plate to add a pop of color.

Layer linens and mix and match dinnerware and stemware.

Have fun collecting items and "shopping" in your own home and garden for table decorations! Or...put on your mask and pop into a thrift store...you might just find the perfect inspiration!

The copper jar (a thrift store find) was the inspiration for this table setting colors and theme. Sometimes it just takes one interesting thing to spark an idea!
